Opus Gluei Challenge #115. Back into the swing of things.

Firstly I apologize for not visiting everyone the last few weeks, things appear to be going to hell in a handbasket around my neck of the woods but this too will pass.

The lovely Deena over at Opus Gluei has challenged us to be inspired by the word SWING whether it be literally or getting back into a routine after the school holidays or even a swing in your step.

For me getting back into my crafting swing/routine is making comedy art, or things that make me laugh anyway. So here is a very topical card.
Click on it to make it bigger.

We have Jeepers from Stampotique Originals and the cobweb, spider border and bat from this Inkadinkado set called creepy crawly.

I think Jeepers now looks very like an anamatronic fortune teller in one of the machines you used to find in amusement arcades on seaside piers in England.
They always seemed quite creepy to me, but it didn't stop me putting my 10p in for my fortune to be told.

Happy creating!

Hi Gini - your imagination knows no bounds!! What a superbly inventive way of combining the stamped images - the moustache idea is awesome, and I agree - she does look rather like one of those creepy fortune tellers! Fabulous border too (is this a MS punch Gini?)
I do hope all is well with you and yours?
Hugs, Sylvia xxxx

That moustache is fabulous. I am always so tickled with your imagination. This piece is great.

Very funny Gini! Unfortunately I don't need to grab a bat to make a moustache :( - maybe I could train it make it look more like a bat though!

Remember Meat Loaf, like a bat out of hell, one of my all time faves matey - I'm sure he must have been on TOTP sometime.

Hope things improve for you very soon (try taking the basket away from your neck - lol, sorry, but I've never heard that expression before and first reading thought you meant you had something around your neck .... I'll put it down to my age I think!)

Take care Gini, xx

Oh my gosh, you do make me giggle, Gini! I love this, what a clever idea for the moustache and yes, now that you mention it, she does look a bit like one of those fortune teller machines (you have such a better way of saying it though)!

Love the border punch and how it draws the eye into the Marvelous Marvella's visage!!!!
